Nuhahahaha! The name’s Wily! The one and only — the brilliant scientist, Dr. Wily!

I’ve got you now, Wily!

Dr. Albert Wily is the main boss of one of the many Adventure Mode stages, appearing in his famous Wily Capsule. He is unique as a boss in that, most of the time, he is impossible to hit!

Wait, what? He was just here a second ago!

His capsule fades in and out, and he appears at just the right time for him to strike! It really makes him a pain to fight.

Agh! You won’t get away with this!

Each time Wily reappears, he launches one of the many moves his machine carries, then promptly vanishes once again. Each of the abilities were taken from the numerous old versions of the Wily Capsule!

Those spiraling energy balls! I remember those!

An electric bolt that splits on the ground!

But, by far his nastiest trick is one borrowed from Mega Man 7 – a quartet of homing elemental sparks! You’ll only see this on the higher difficulties, however.

No… he wouldn’t…

Once you finally take him down, he’ll go to plan B, as always.

W-wait a minute! I promise to be good! I’m a changed man!
